Rafael - Living live a day at a time

It's just amazing that already 1 year has passed since my little girl captured my heart just by grabbing my finger a few minutes after being born.

1 amazing year has passed, she has changed from being a little baby that only ate, slept and shit; into a young girl that responds to your attention, smiles to everyone, loves the challenges and overcomes all the obstacles in her path, and she just made her first steps during the last 2 weeks.

Within no time she will be running around, going to school, making friends, having problems, etc. But for today all I can say is: Happy Birthday Daniela, my little and beloved daughter.

Although a bit late, here are some pictures from the Sart Carnival.

It was interesting to see all the work that a small community like that would put into a carnival, an activity that last only 1 day but that unites family and friends in 2 different towns.

Just to give you an idea all of the floats that you see in these pictures are made with papercut flowers, which after being cut, rolled and pasted are put in place in the float. Easily a float can have between 500 and 3,000 flowers, some nice homework for the cold winters ah?

Well a little photo update on little Daniela who this next 21st will be already 1 year old, it is just amazing how fast time flies!!.

As you can see from the pictures she has grown to be a very smiley baby, who loves to socialize with other people, and actually loves to have attention from someone and responds by smiling to them (even if she only has 4 teeth and resembles more a Vampire and anything else), which as shown can melt even the hardest person.

1 year almost gone by, let the second and even harder challenges come!
